PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand deposition preventive method arranged in a sand control dam bank, composed of a first waterway formed on the upstream side of the dam bank and a second waterway formed in the dam bank and on the downstream side of the dam bank, and preventing sediment from depositing in a fishway where the flowing-down directions of both waterways are crossed.;SOLUTION: A boundary part between the first waterway 4 and the second waterway 5 becomes a bending part 47. A corner part 47a of this bending part 47 is intercepted by a wall 7 so that an angle θto the flowing-down direction F1 of the first waterway becomes a prescribed value. A sediment gathering part 6 is arranged in a position just under the dam bank 2 of the second waterway 5. The sediment gathered in this sediment gathering part 6 is discharged at any time by opening a gate door 55.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
