PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disconnection detection method or a device for detecting the disconnection of a speed generator capable of accurately detecting disconnection without exerting an influence on an output power of the speed generator, namely, on speed detection.;SOLUTION: This disconnection detection method of the speed generator is characterized by having a power differentiation process for differentiating the output power of the speed generator, a rectification process for performing full-wave rectification of the output power differentiated by the power differentiation process, and a comparison process for comparing the output power subjected to the full-wave rectification by the rectification process with a prescribed voltage level.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
