PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat cycle testing method for properly evaluating a durability of a thermal barrier coating applied on a turbine blade and so forth, and to provide a jig for use in the same.;SOLUTION: The inside is separated into two spaces of a lower space 12 and an upper space 14 by an impingement plate 18 which is mounted inside a square jig main body 8 having an opening at the upper surface, in which a multitude of through-holes 16 are formed, and cooling air is supplied from an air supply tube 22 connected to the lower space. A sheet-like test specimen is placed at the opening of the jig main body so as to close it. An exhaust hole 24 for discharging the (cooling) air which impingement-cooled the test specimen, via the through hole to the upper space, is formed near the upper end of the jig main body. The test specimen is supported by a clip mechanism 26, in which the thermal expansion/shrinkage thereof is not restricted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
