PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garment design support device and a garment design support method capable of optimally designing a garment under the consideration of physical or biological characteristics different from each other for every motion or individual.;SOLUTION: The physical shape data of an organism are inputted as three-dimensional coordinates, and three-dimensional polygon data showing the physical shape being the target of design of a garment are generated based on the inputted physical shape data, and physical operation information showing the motion of the physical shape is inputted as time-series data, and the displacement of the polygon data is calculated based on the physical operation information, and the distribution of the design support information is calculated and outputted based on the displacement of the calculated polygon data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
