PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the diet menu of a user who wants to go on a diet at low costs. PSOLUTION: This diet menu providing system using bargains in foodstuff is provided with a user terminal 10 being an information processor such as a personal computer used by a user who wants to go on a diet, a recipe providing system 20 for providing a diet menu based on information from the user terminal 10 and a store group 30 being stores such as supermarkets with which the user has preliminarily contracted, and they are connected through the Internet 100 to each other. This system is provided with a function for calculating the user's standard weight and obesity level from the user's height and weight, and for automatically calculating the maximum calory of meals for reducing the user's weight to the standard weight within a weight reduction period desired by the user when the user is obese and a function for receiving the bargains in foodstuff of the store group such as the preliminarily registered supermarkets, and for providing the diet menu within the range of the maximum calory based on the bargains in foodstuff.
