SUSPENSION DEVICE FOR COMMON USE IN LEAF SPRING AND AIR SPRING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension device for common use in a leaf spring and an air spring in which the vibration of a vehicle body is not deteriorated against various projections/recesses of a road surface while the length of the air spring is sufficiently obtained and mounting is facilitated.;SOLUTION: The air springs 12, 12' are disposed between an axle 5 supported on upper surfaces of the leaf springs 4, 4' and a spring shoe 11 projectedly mounted to the upper side surface of a car frame 1. According to this constitution, moment around the axle by the reaction force of the air spring when passing the projection/recess of the road surface is not generated and a link mechanism such as a torque rod or the like is not required. Even if the reaction force of the air spring is varied when passing the projection/recess of the road surface, the generation of a waving phenomenon of the leaf spring and the vibration of the vehicle is prevented. The air spring can be obtained by a predetermined required length and the deterioration of the vibration of the vehicle can be prevented even in a general traveling state of the vehicle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
