PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable execution of a bidirectional uninterruptible power supply relief of a load without executing a hot-line connection switchover of connecting cables in the course of an operation for a distribution line, in a bidirectional uninterruptible power supply switching method in regard to a distribution system enabling execution of reverse transmission. ;SOLUTION: An output of a generator 11 of an uninterruptible power supply switching car 10 is branched into two main circuits 14 and 15, while, breakers CB1 and CB2 are provided for the main circuits 14 and 15 respectively, and connecting cables are connected to the main circuits 14 and 15. Besides, a noncontact current sensor 3 is provided temporarily for a distribution line and a detected current signal from this noncontact current sensor is taken in a measuring-controlling device 13. In either case of a forward or reverse current, the breakers CB1 and CB2 of the main circuits connected to the load side to be subjected to an uninterrupted power supply relief are made synchronously and thereby a load is switched to the generator 11 in the condition of an uninterruptible power supply.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
