PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, in a split-type magnet for a highly-sensitive NMR device for solution analysis, a method for generating a very homogeneous magnetic field in the center part of the magnet for measuring a sample.;SOLUTION: In the magnet device for an NMR device comprising first and second multi-layer coil groups which are arranged opposite to each other at a predetermined interval and are substantially coaxial with respect to a center axis wherein each layer of the multi-layer coil groups is constituted of at least one coil, when the direction of current passing through a coil for generating a main magnet field for the NMR measurement in the vicinity of the center of the magnet device is defined as the plus direction, the direction of current passing through at least one of coils constituting the innermost layers of the first and second multi-layer coil groups is defined as the minus direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
