PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pore-imparting material containing an extinction granulated powder as a main component, a porous material forming raw material consisting of the pore-imparting material, and a porous member.;SOLUTION: The pore-imparting material is characterized by containing, as a main component, the extinction granulated powder obtained by granulating an extinction material which disappears mainly by heating. The porous material forming raw material contains the pore-imparting material as a main component and a forming raw material powder.
