PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical performance practice apparatus that allows a beginner user to master a music playing operation.;SOLUTION: At a step SA3, a plurality of note sequences consisting of a last note and a current note are formed from music data. At a step SA6, a musical performance guidance corresponding to music data is given and an added note number is added to a note sequence performing a wrong playing operation. At a step SA5, a musical performance guidance corresponding to the music data is given and a musical performance guidance of the current note of a note sequence which has the last note matching the pitch performing the playing operation and has the largest added note number is given; and then a musical performance guidance of the current note of the note sequence which has the last note matching the pitch performing the playing operation according to the guidance and has the largest added note number is given. Thus, the operation is repeated as many times as added notes. Consequently, a music playing operation for a note sequence for which a wrong music playing operation is done among the note sequences obtained from the music data is selectively practiced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
