PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repayment information reporting service server for reporting repayment information to the user of a card when the user uses the card, and also to provide a repayment information reporting method.;SOLUTION: When a user 8 puts a non-contact IC card over an IC card reader/writer 10, electronic money (E-money) recorded in the non-contact IC card is updated (reduced). The updated remaining amount information of E-money is transferred to a remaining amount information reporting server 3, and compared with a predetermined threshold. When remaining amount information is not more than the threshold in result, the remaining amount information reporting server 3 gives to an E-mail remaining amount information of E-money, and reporting information for reporting that the smaller remaining amount exists, etc., and, then, transmits it to a portable telephone set 7 of a transmission destination which is set by the user 8.
