PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser ionizing mass analyzing method capable of analyzing an organic compound being a target substance contained in a sample with high sensitivity.;SOLUTION: The laser ionizing mass analyzing method includes a process for setting a wavelength for showing an absorption peak to the initial wavelength λ1i of a first laser beam by measuring the absorbancy of the sample and setting the wavelength of light having energy sufficient to ionize an excited target substance to the initial wavelength λ2i of a second laser beam, a process for irradiating the sample with the first and second laser beams so as to fix the wavelength λ2i of the second laser beam and change the wavelength of the first laser beam with the wavelength λ1i as reference to perform the mass analysis of the target substance and determining the optimum wavelength λ1 of the first laser beam, and a process for irradiating the sample with the first and second laser beams so as to fix the wavelength λ1 of the first laser beam and change the wavelength of the second laser beam with the wavelength λ2i as reference to perform the mass analysis of the target substance and determining the optimum wavelength λ2 of the second laser beam.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
