PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method capable of reducing the complexity of a sample, and capable of efficiently and highly reliably immobilizing and determining quantitatively a protein in the proteome sample. PSOLUTION: The present invention provides the very efficient method for identifying the protein in the proteome sample by characterizing one N-terminal (or C-terminal) peptide per one protein, in one embodiment of the invention. The present invention provides the quantitative determination method related to a difference in an expression of the protein and/or modification thereof, as to the various kinds of samples, in another embodiment.
