PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-precision prediction method of a prodromal stage of rock destruction or the like supported by experiments.;SOLUTION: An AE sensor is placed on a rock or the like. A prodromal stage is estimated by comparing a hybrid result of the first parameters d1 and E which are a plurality of parameters obtained from an AE waveform received by the AE sensor with an area of the prodromal stage which is obtained beforehand from the first parameters d1 and E. In addition, the prodromal stage is also estimated by the first parameter which is a rise time d1 which is a period from a point when the received AE waveform exceeds a certain threshold value Fa to a point when the waveform reaches the maximum value.
