PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel processing device that reduces the possibility of CO poisoning of a fuel cell despite a simple system structure using a single heat source. PSOLUTION: The fuel processing device 30, which treats a raw material to be reformed to reform it into fuel gas having hydrogen as a principal component, comprises a reforming part 35 for reforming the raw material to be reformed into reformed gas having hydrogen, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide as principal components, a CO conversion part 36 and 37 for converting the carbon monoxide remaining in the reformed gas into carbon dioxide and simultaneously generating hydrogen, a burner part 33 for heating the reforming part 35 and the CO conversion part, and a temperature controller 77 for detecting the temperature of the CO conversion part and regulating the burning capacity of the burner part 33 to control the temperature of the CO conversion part.
