PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam recompression type concentration equipment capable of effectively evaporating a water to be treated and effectively utilizing the generated heat energy.;SOLUTION: The concentration equipment has a first evaporation and concentration means 13 for heating the water to be treated with a heating means 12 to evaporate a part thereof to concentrate it, a suction and compression means 14 for producing a hot water mixed with high-temperature steam by sucking and compressing the steam generated within the evaporation and concentration means 13 while maintaining the interior of the evaporation and concentration means 13 in a reduced pressure state, and a hot water supply piping 15 for supplying the hot water mixed with the high-temperature steam to the heating means 12 as a heating source. The equipment has a second evaporation and concentration means 17 which is connected to the suction and compression means 14, is held in the reduced pressure state by the suction and compression means 14 and evaporates a part of the water to be treated.
