PROGRAM GUIDE SERVICE SYSTEM, PROGRAM GUIDE DISPLAY METHOD, AND REBROADCAST PROGRAM NOTIFICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program guide service system and a program guide display method for enabling a user to discriminate viewed broadcast programs, rebroadcast programs and programs which the user has missed viewing.;SOLUTION: A registered user links a web site as necessary and view the program selected by the user, so that the user can check a viewed program, check the channel and a rebroadcast data/time of a rebroadcast program, check a program which the user has missed viewing and select and designate a program which the user wants to view. In this case, a server 1 automatically displays the rebroadcast programs or the programs which the user has missed viewing so as to discriminate from the other programs to enable the user to see the program guide. Also, when the program which the user has missed viewing is scheduled to be rebroadcasted, the server 1 can transmit, by e-mail, the information about rebroadcast program such as the title, broadcast time and channel of the program to be rebroadcasted to a terminal 2 or a cellular telephone set of the user who has designated (selected) the program.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
