PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent muddy water from infiltrating into a tine shaft and not to hinder the attaching and detaching of the tine shaft by equipping both the end parts of the tine shaft with a sealing means.;SOLUTION: The tine shaft sealing apparatus for a center derive type tiller is equipped with a main shaft 15 projected from a transmission case 3, the cylindrical tine shaft 16 which is connected to the outside end part of the main shaft 15 in the shaft direction so as to rotate together and is detachable in the shaft direction, a connection member 37 having an inner end part in the shaft direction, which is inserted into the cylinder of the tine shaft 16, detachably connected to the outside end part of the main shaft 15 in the shaft direction, and the outside end part of the main shaft in the shaft direction, which is brought into contact with the outside end part of the tine shaft 16 in the shaft direction and regulates the outward movement of the tine shaft 16 in the shaft direction and sealing parts 74 and 75 which are arranged between both the end parts of the tine shaft 16 and the main shaft 15 and between the end parts of the tine shaft and the connection member 37 to prevent water from infiltrating into the tine shaft 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
