PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily draw out paper with a single hand and cut it off with the same single hand, and to surely and easily pick the tip of the paper by simple constitution without increasing and complicating structure unnecessarily.;SOLUTION: The paper holder is provided with a base body 11, a paper placing piece 13 and a cutting piece 15. The base body 11 is mounted to the tip side of the upper surface of the paper cover 33 of the paper holder 31. The paper placing piece 13 is provided on the lower side of the base body 11 with an interval 14 for sending out the rolling-out side 22 of the roll paper 21 between the piece 13 and the lower edge 12 of the base body 11, and mounts the rolling-out side 22 of the roll paper 21. The cutting piece 15 of the roll paper 22 is provided integrally at the upper edge of the base body 11. A distance L1 from the lower edge 12 of the base body 11 to the tip of the cutting piece 15 is made to be longer than a distance L2 from the lower edge 12 of the base body 11 to the outer edge 16 of the paper placing piece 13 which is covered with the rolling-out side 22 of the roll paper 21.
