PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exciting coil for electromagnetic induction heating for setting the temperature distribution of an entire heating roller nearly uniform in the fixing device of an electromagnetic induction heating system.;SOLUTION: In the exciting coil for the electromagnetic induction heating (10), an aggregate stranded wire obtained by gathering several magnetic wires is wound in array nearly to the paper feeding size of a heating roller (4) in the circumferential direction of a cylindrical bobbin made of heat resistant resin or ceramic (2a), and also is wound in double-layer by several winds only at both end parts of the coil, and also several ferrite cores (1) having the same cylindrical or rectangular shape are arranged on the center axis of the bobbin (2a) by leaving uniform intervals.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
