PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sight line measuring accuracy evaluation techniques appropriately evaluating the measuring accuracy of a sight line measuring instrument. PSOLUTION: The subject sight line measuring accuracy evaluation device determines a range in a space occupied by respective objects comprising a structure, which is formed by disposing the plurality of objects, prevents the object displacement to a user, instructs the user to closely observe the object and obtains the object which the user closely observes in response thereto. Then, the sight line measuring instrument measures the sight line, so that this evaluation device estimates the object which the user closely observes based on the measuring result and range information on the respective objects and determines whether or not the obtained object and the estimated object are accorded with each other. This evaluation device calculates the evaluation value of the measurement accuracy of the sight line measuring instrument based on the total of the determination results obtained by closely observing the plurality of objects and obtains the evaluation value in a form of taking account of the range shape of the object to be distinguished by the user.
