PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulb-shaped electrodeless fluorescent lamp and a lighting device for an electrodeless fluorescent lamp with a longer life by suppressing blackening of a discharge container.;SOLUTION: A winding shaft 104a of a bobbin 104, around which a winding 103 of an induction coil 109 is wound, is inserted into a recessed part 120 of an arc tube 101. The winding shaft 104a has a plurality of projections 108, 108,..., and these projections 108, 108,... project more toward the wall face of the recessed part 120 than the winding 103 of the induction coil 109.
