PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating pier which is provided with a countermeasure against ocean waves so as to prevent damage to the floating pier, particularly, in a storm and the like.;SOLUTION: This floating pier 3 makes a boat storage launching device (a girder 27) float on the marine M side of a marina which is provided on a land L side, and the boat storage launching device makes a boat such as a pleasure boat and a yacht move between the marine M side and the land L side. The floating pier 3 is composed of a pier body 1 and a hanging body 2; an engaging ring 4 is provided on the outer surface of the pier body 1 which is exposed on the marine M side when the pier body 1 is floated on the marine M side; the shape of the hanging body 2 in a plan view is smaller than and geometrically similar to the outer shape of the pier body 1; a connecting wire 14 which is freely connected to/ disconnected from the engaging ring 4 is provided; and the hanging body 2 is provided with a leg 21 which is protruded downward from a float 9 when the engaging ring 4 and the connecting wire 14 are connected to each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
