PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter receiver using a transmitting antenna diversity to deal with degradation due to fading in a wireless communication system.;SOLUTION: At least two symbols of four symbols to be transmitted through four transmitting antennas are phase-rotated by predetermined phase values. This encoder is constituted by four combinations including four symbols so that four symbols to be inputted can be transmitted only once by each transmitting antenna during each time interval, and the combinations are transferred to the four transmitting antennas during four time intervals. In this case, before at least the two symbols selected from the four symbols to be inputted are transmitted to the transmitting antennas, the two symbols are rotated by the predetermined phase values.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
