PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam resin container which is provided with a gas barrier function while keeping heat insulation characteristics, etc., which is a property of a foam resin container item.;SOLUTION: The inside face of a foam resin container 10 is covered with a shallow container shape sheet item 20 comprising a bottom face 21 and a shallow bottom body 22 connected to this, and a top body 31 made of a truncated cone shaped gas barrier sheet 30 positioned on top of the shallow bottom body. After a fan shaped barrier sheet 30 is wound around a male mold to form the top body 31, a shallow container shape sheet item 20, comprising the bottom face 21 and the shallow bottom body 22 connected to this, covers the male mold for inserting the top body bottom end part at the bottom body top end part of the container shaped sheet item 20 and for tentatively fitting to the male mold.
