PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely sense the generation of the abnormality of a DC/DC converter, when the output voltage of a DC/DC converter is increased. SOLUTION: A DC/DC converter assembly 20 has a plurality of DC/DC converter modules 22a, 22b connected in parallel with each other. The rate of change of the output voltage of the DC/DC converter assembly 20 when all the converter modules 22a, 22b are normal is different from one when an abnormality is generated in one of the converter modules 22a, 22b. Therefore, when the rate of change of its detected output voltage value is different from the one in the normal state, a system ECU 32 decides that an abnormality has been generated in it, based on the output of a voltage sensor 34. The rate of change of the output voltage is represented, e.g. by its voltage gradient with respect to time axis.
