HEMODYNAMOMETER AND METHOD FOR MEASURING PULSE USING THIS HEMODYNAMOMETER

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemodynamometer which accurately measures not only a blood pressure but also a pulse in a general home and which can maintain and improve a health in the home by acquring information of whether a heart performs a suitable function or not and to provide a method for measuring the pulse using this hemodynamometer. PSOLUTION: The hemodynamometer includes a cuff mounted at an upper limb of a human body, and a pressurizing and depressurizing unit for pressurizing or depressuring the cuff by feeding air to the cuff. The hemodynamometer has the functions of detecting a pressure pulsation in the cuff and measuring a blood pressure value from a transition of an amplitude of the pressure pulsation. The hemodynamometer has functions of feebly pressurizing the cuff mounted at the upper limb as compared with when the blood pressure is measured, detecting the pressure pulsation in the cuff by maintaining a pressure value P by the feeble pressurization for a predetermined time T and measuring a generating period of the pulsation.
