PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston for an air compressor with a relatively simple structure and excellent economical efficiency whereby compressed air can be efficiently produced with a small number of parts.;SOLUTION: In this piston for the air compressor, a piston head 10 is provided, an eccentric rod of a flywheel is connected to a shaft hole 12 of a free end of a piston rod 11 extending from a bottom part of the piston head, an O ring groove 13 for attaching an O ring 2 is formed on an outer peripheral wall of the piston head 10, and a bottom surface of the O ring groove is formed to have a conical surface tapered toward a top surface of the piston head. A plurality of ventilation passages 14 are provided along the vicinity of an outer peripheral edge on the top surface of the piston head 10 in equal intervals, and the ventilation passage 14 communicates with the O ring groove 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
