PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for smoothing and supporting copyright processing for electronic contents data that can be used in printing.;SOLUTION: The copyright processing proxy system is provided with a use license format transmission means for transmitting a use license format to a copyrighter about contents that is not subjected to copyright processing, a license data reception means for receiving license data based on the license format transmitted from the copyrighter, a license database for storing the license data received by the license data reception means, and a transfer means for transferring contents data relating to the license data from an unprocessed contents database to a copyright license database.
