POLLUTION-FREE CUTTING METHOD FOR PIPING OF ELECTRIC INSTRUMENT CONTAINING PCB (POLYCHLORINATED BIPHENYL)

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method for piping which surely prevents the leakage of PCB oil remaining in the piping to the outside of the piping upon or after the cutting work of the piping.;SOLUTION: A bag 26 is inserted into a sealing agent pouring port 20 bored on the piping 16, and a sealing agent 22 is poured into the bag 26 whereby a cut 16a of the piping 16 is perfectly blocked by the bag 26 and the sealing agent 22. Accordingly, the cut 16a of the piping 16 is not contaminated by the PCB oil 18 and the PCB oil 18 is not scattered when the cut 16a of the piping 16 is formed. On the other hand, the cut 16a of the piping 16 is perfectly shielded by the sealing agent 22 and the bag 26 whereby the PCB oil 18 does not flow out through a cut end opening.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
