PURPOSE: To accurately and freely adjust the temperature characteristic of the output voltage by supplying the constant current to the resistance and the serial connection circuit of the diode and turning the voltage developed across the circuit to the output voltage, and controlling the temperature grade by adjusting the number of connected diodes or the resistance value. CONSTITUTION: A direct connection circuit 12 consisting of n-diodes D1-Dn and a resistance R2 is biased by the constant current I and the voltage developed across the circuit 12 is made the output voltage Vref . With the adjustment of the number of connecting n-diodes D1-Dn or the resistance value of a resistance R2, the temperature gradient CT of the output voltage Vref is controlled and the temperature characteristic is controlled. The VFO is the voltage value (v) of the positive voltage VF of the diode in the reference temperature, RO is the resistance value (Ω) of the resistance R2, and IO is the current value (A) of the current I. ΔR is the temperature coefficient of the resistance R2 (Ω/ deg.C). ΔI is the temperature coefficient (A/ deg.C) of the current I. ΔVF is the temperature coefficient (V/ deg.C) of the positive voltage VF of the diode.
