ADHESIVE COMPOSITION FOR POROUS MATERIAL AND BONDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous material bonding method in which the adhesive used is of a solventless type, is rapid-curing, and flame-retardant, can be applied by means of an inexpensive collision mixing type spray machine, and gives bonding having a low-modulus, high-strength adhesion quantity, and excellent antifogging properties.;SOLUTION: The bonding method is one for bonding a porous adherend to a porous or nonporous adherend comprising applying a two-package curing solventless adhesive comprising the following base agent and the following curing agent to the surfaces of the adherends. The base agent is a mixture of (A) a urethane prepolymer derived from (a) an organic polyisocyanate compound and (b) a polyalkylene ether polyol having an oxyethylene chain content of 20-100 wt.% with (B) a flame-retardant diluent. The curing agent is a mixture comprising water, (C) a catalyst, and, optionally, (D) a water-soluble polyol.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
