PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluctuating selector and a charging method for the fluctuating selector by which efficient and precise selection can be attained by properly charging matters to be selected onto an inclined screen in the fluctuating selector in which the matters to be selected are charged onto the fluctuating inclined screen and the matters to be selected are selected due to repulsion difference between the inclined screen and the matters to be selected.;SOLUTION: A member for diffusion in a width direction 6 is disposed above the inclined screen 2. The matters to be selected charged onto an upper step part 7 of the member for diffusion in the width direction 6 from a belt conveyor 5 are roughly divided into three parts at the upper step part 7 of the member for diffusion in the width direction 6, further are diffused in a lateral direction at a lower step part 8 of the member for diffusion in the width direction 6 and drop onto the inclined screen 2. Thereby thickness distribution of the matters to be selected on the inclined screen 2 becomes gently sloping distribution spreading in the width direction of the inclined screen 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
