PURPOSE: To obtain a TM dual mode smaller dielectric resonator with thinner profile and higher-no-load Q in comparison with those of a conventional filter. ;CONSTITUTION: The resonator is provided with first and second pillar dielectric bodies 1, 2 having two end faces opposed to each other, a flat electrode 3 inserted between one-side end faces of the 1st and 2nd dielectric bodies 1, 2, a 1st conductor plate 9a formed so that its end ridge is parted from an outer circumference of other side of the 1st dielectric body 1 by a prescribed distance and part of the 1st conductor plate 9a is in contact with the entire face of the other side of the 1st dielectric body 1, and a 2nd conductor plate 9b formed so that its end ridge is parted from an outer circumference of other side of the 2nd dielectric body 2 by a prescribed distance and part of the 2nd conductor plate 9b is in contact with the entire face of the other side of the 2nd dielectric body 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
