PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prison enabling the management of a convict to be economized.;SOLUTION: The prison for interning the convict comprises the central management building for monitoring the whole prison and a section having an opening divided into a plurality of parts, it has an opening and closing mechanism opening or closing the opening every the opening, the opening and closing mechanism includes a partition body making each section as a separate section by closing the opening of the section, the central management building includes an operating/releasing means for operating or releasing the opening and closing mechanism of the section and a position monitor capable of detecting or visually detecting the position of the convict and and an abnormality thereof by receiving a signal from a transmitter carried by the convict in the prison.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
