PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a particle size without using a screen, and to eliminate the trouble, such as kneading a material to be processed and a bad yield caused by the generation of a large amount of fine particles by disintegrating particles having a proper size, to carry out granulation within the range of the proper size.;SOLUTION: A rotating body 6 and an opposed surface part which faces the rotating body 6 to have a prescribed gap between them are installed in casings 1 and 2 to form a gap area. The gap area is constituted to be a particle size controlling area which allows the particles, which meet the prescribed gap, to pass and does not allow the particles, which do not meet the prescribed gap, to pass. The particles which can not pass through the gap area are brought into contact with the opposed surface part in cooperation with the rotation of the rotating body 6, and disintegrated at the inlet or the surface area part of the gap area to pass through the gap area and to be discharged from a discharge port.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
