PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sheath-core conjugate yarn for improving productivity by increasing a deliver amount per unit time and bettering qualities such as colorability, dyeing unevenness and wear resistance characteristics. ;SOLUTION: This method for producing a sheath-core conjugate yarn comprises spinning a sheath-core conjugate yarn comprising a sheath component substantially composed of a polyethylene terephthalate and a core component composed of a polyester copolymerized with 5-20 wt.% of a polyethylene glycol and has 1-15 core component conjugate ratio at 4,000-1,000 m/minute spinning speed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
