PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fine particles for shielding solar radiation with which a solar radiation shielding film having a high visible light transmissivity, a low solar radiation transmissivity and a low haze value can be formed, to provide a coating solution for forming a solar radiation shielding film, and to provide a solar radiation shielding film.;SOLUTION: The fine particles for shielding solar radiation consists of indium - tin - germanium oxide fine particles or of indium - fluorine - tin oxide fine particles in which, as for an L*a*b* color specification system, L* is 52 to 80, a* is -10 to -0.1 and b* is -14 to 20 in powder colors, and the specific surface area is ≥40 m2/g. The coating solution for forming a solar radiation shielding film contains indium - tin - germanium oxide fine particles or indium - fluorine - tin oxide fine particles having the above properties. The solar radiation shielding film is obtained by heat-treating the coating solution for forming a solar radiation shielding film applied to the surface of a base material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
