Electronic filing system and registration document notification method

PURPOSE: To provide the electronic filing device and its document registration notifying method which enable a user to previously select a document whose registration is reported. CONSTITUTION: The electronic filing device stores document data 214 in a RAM. The document data 214 have information 215 on a classification, a document name, a registration date, a registering person, a document key word, text, data, document image data, etc. When a document 101 printed on paper is read in by a document image input means 102, analog data of the document 101 are converted into digital data, and a before-registration processing means 103 generates registration data 104. The registration data 104 are registered in a document data managing means 108 lastly through a registering means 107 which adds document attributes such as the document name and registering person shown as the information 215. The document data managing means 108 stores the document data and complies with requests to register and retrieve, etc. Further, the document data managing means 108 notifies the user that the document has been registered through a registration notifying means 113 with information set by a registration notified user setting means 109.
