PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely measure a target distance according to radio environment and to suppress the generation of pseudo lock or lock-off by influence of a multi-path or the like.;SOLUTION: This device comprises a gate means for providing a forward range gate and a backward range gate with a prescribed distance-measured position as the center in a radar video signal, an integrating means for integrating the radar video signal in each range gate every range gate, an error detection means for performing a prescribed weighting arithmetic processing to the integrated values and determining the error between the measured position and a receiving position as measurement error on the basis of the arithmetic result, and a distance arithmetic means for determining the target distance on the basis of the measurement error.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
