PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print output user interface control method which supports user input setting so that print job information can be set in a character style adaptive to the display capacity of a display device of a print output device in a printing data supply device.;SOLUTION: In a computer 2 in which control software 4 incorporated, a display capability information acquisition part 4a performs an acquisition process for acquiring display capacity information on a display device 3c from a display capacity information acquisition/transmission part 5 of a printer 3 in advance. When printing job information is set, a display capacity matching comparison part 4c performs a comparison process for comparing a user name and a printing job name inputted by a user or automatically by a job name acquisition part 4b with the display capacity information obtained by the acquisition process to decide whether or not they are adaptive to the display capacity.
