PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code division multiplex access communication unit having a filtering device for a reception code signal that reduces a memory capacity and miniaturizes the scale of a circuit configuration.;SOLUTION: The code division multiplex access communication unit is provided with a weighting filtering section 240 that applies weighting filtering to power data extracted by a power extract section and an output signal of a data expansion section, a comparison section 213 that compares the output signal of the processing section with a 1st threshold value, a storage section 241 for its coding data, expansion sections 242, 243 for data in the storage section, a comparator section 230 that compares an output signal from the processing section 240 with a 2nd threshold, a peak detection section 44 that detects a peak level of the power data from this output signal, and a spread signal generating section 48 that receives the detected peak level and outputs a spread code to the power extract section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
