The invention concerns a lifting and swivelling device for a combined transport railway/road car with pivoting carrier railway structure (6) having at least lifting means and at least motorised running means (20) and (21) on the ground urged in lifting and running support contact with at least a support and running track (11) present on the underside of at least one end of the railway structure (6) bearing the road car load. Said invention is of interest for manufacturers of equipment in the field of combined railway/road transport.
