PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium enabling cultivating various kinds of mushroom, represented by Agaricus Blasei Murill, difficult to be cultivated, and also to provide a method for culturing mushroom using the medium. SOLUTION: This method for culturing mushroom comprises inoculating/ culturing the viable fungus of Agaricus Blasei Murill to a medium containing the diluent of the viable fungus essence of Agaricus Blasei Murill and then inoculating/culturing to the medium the mycelium of mushroom belonging to a group except the group of Agaricus Blasei Murill to compositely culture mushroom when the mycelium of Agaricus Blasei Murill grows.
