PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enciphering device which uses only one transmission line to enable secret communication according to chaotic synchronization by utilizing a signal for information also as a signal for synchronization and uses a chaotic dynamical system synchronization that improves transmission efficiency and security, a decoding device, a cipher system, an enciphering method, a decoding method, a recording medium recording a cipher program and a recording medium recording a decoding program. ;SOLUTION: A random signal generating part 41 generates a random signal by using a chaotic dynamical system having a parameter to be a secret key, an adder 43 adds product signals obtained by such a manner that a multiplier 42 multiplies the random signal by the sum signal of the secret key parameter and an information signal to generate and transmit a random transmission signal, a random signal that is the same as the random signal is generated by feedbacking the transmission signal as an input signal to the chaotic dynamical system, also receiving the transmission signal and synchronizing it with the chaotic dynamical system and the correlation value of this random signal and the transmission signal is calculated to decode the information signal based on the correlation value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
