PURPOSE: To form a coating film onto a magnesium alloy material which exhibits satisfactory corrosion resistance not only in the salt-spray test(SST) but also in the combined corrosion cycle test(CCT). ;CONSTITUTION: This magnesium alloy material contg. 0.004% iron, 0.002% nickel and 0.015% copper is subjected to coating-substrate treatment and thereafter, to powder coating with an epoxy-based powder coating material using as the curing agent a polyester resin having carboxyl groups or a dibasic acid dihydrazide.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
