PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stock liquor for cross-linked resin, changing in viscosity to a limited extent, capable of being widely changed in curability and applicable to various molding methods, and to provide a method for producing a cross- linked resin of high mechanical strength, hardness, toughness and resistance to heat, and low water absorptivity, using the above stock liquor for cross-linked resin. ;SOLUTION: This stock liquor for cross-linked resin is obtained by adding a product from the reaction between sulfonic acid and alkanolamine, working as a thermally potential catalyst, to a resin liquor obtained by the reaction of a composition composed of (a) a bis (2-oxazoline) compound, (b) an aromatic polyamine, (c) a compound, other than the compound (b), which reacts with the bis (2oxazoline) compound, as required, and/or (d) a compound, other than the compound (a), which reacts with an aromatic polyamine. The other objective cross-linked resin of high mechanical strength, hardness, toughness and resistance to heat, and low water absorptivity is obtained by curing the stock liquor for cross-linked resin under heating.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
