PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a buyer and a seller of an on-line auction to suffer loss.;SOLUTION: When there is a bid input from a selling company 300, an electronic procurement site 100 judges whether the bid input meets conditions registered as auction information. When the inputs meets the conditions, the bit input is registered in a database. Further, it is judged whether the bid input agrees a set condition among conditions regarding automatic prolongation of a closing time and when no agreement is found, automatic prolongation processing is not activated. When an agreement is found, on the other hand, the closing time of the auction is prolonged according to conditions of set prolongation condition setting items.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
