PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator in which abrasion can be reduced and durability can be improved.;SOLUTION: A conical projection 21 is provided in a projected part 20 of a vibrator 5 with a piezoelectric element. An irregularity part 15 formed by shot-peening or the like is provided at the outer periphery of a rotor 4. When an AC voltage is impressed to the vibrator 5, the projection 21 is vibrated while drawing an elliptical track. The projection 21 is engaged with the irregularity part 15 of the rotor 4 at a part of the elliptical track and it makes the rotor 4 rotate by pressing the rotor circumferentially. The rotor 4 is rotated by repeating this. The rotor 4 is driven by the engagement of the irregularity part 15, and as a result, a frictional force can be reduced, abrasion is reduced, and the durability can be improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
