PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve why a refractive index is different according to a specific gravity of a substance or why the refractive index is different according to the wavelength of a photon.;SOLUTION: A trajectory is obtained from formula: 1/specific gravity=(trajectory×108)3 for obtaining the trajectory from the specific gravity. According to this, trajectory×refractive index=[predetermined value (P)×10-8] is satisfied. The predetermined value is different according to the substance. The refractive index of the photon can be calculated from the trajectory (1/2 of a wavelength) of the photon based on the formula, and hence it is understood that the refractive index doubled at the refractive index of the photon is the refractive index of the substance. The refractive index of the substance is inversely proportional to the trajectory of a molecule. The shorter the trajectory of the molecule is, the larger the refractive index is. This is because the photon is detoured to the trajectory of the molecule. The refraction is that the photon is turned to the trajectory of the molecule.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
